摩爾門援助之手聚集耶穌基督後期聖徒教會的成員和他們的鄰舍來提供社區服務。這群志願者穿起他們用作標誌的黃色襯衣，去幫助那些生活被自然災害以及其他緊急事故影響的人。摩爾門援助之手的志願者亦與政府和非牟利組織合作，來支持和改善那些受助人所居住的社區。
